An Edwardian 'Manners Makyth Man' pin tray carved from the ancient oak of Winchester Cathedral, circa 1905
Carved to the right of the recess with the arms of William of Wykeham, above MANNERS MAKYTH MAN.
12.5 cm long.
Restoration work on the Cathedral began in 1905 and items such as this were produced from the old oak beams in order to raise money for the work.
